Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday congratulated the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on two successful tests of rapid-reaction surface-to-air missiles.
“Congratulations to @DRDO_India for two successful consecutive rapid reaction surface-to-air missile tests. The first launch test on November 13 demonstrated direct hit missile and radar capabilities. Today’s test demonstrated the performance of the warhead in proximity detection, ”Singh tweeted.

In early November 13, the Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile (QRSAM) system achieved an important milestone by directly impacting a Banshee Pilotless target aircraft at medium range and medium altitude.
The missile has been developed as part of the Indian Army’s air defense system.
