According to sources, Krunal Pandya was detained and questioned by DRI officials from 5:30 pm. The Mumbai Indians star reportedly said that he had no idea about the declaration procedure and customs duties, so he had not declared the watches to customs.

The watches were seized and turned over to Mumbai airport customs for valuation and Krunal was able to leave the airport around midnight. After the valuation of the watches, Krunal will have to pay around 38 percent of their value as customs duty and the awarding authority will also decide the amount of the fine to be imposed on Krunal.

Once Krunal pays the customs duties and the fine, the seized luxury watches will be delivered to him.
