The Twitter image of Union Interior Minister Amit Shah was removed by the microblogging site on Thursday, in response to a “report from the copyright holder.”

Clicking on Shah’s display image on his verified identifier, a blank page was displayed with the message: “Media not displayed. This image has been removed in response to a report from the copyright holder. “

The image was restored after a while. No other details were available on Twitter.

Twitter had also recently removed the display image on BCCI’s official Twitter identifier, also citing copyright infringement.
