Actor Kangana Ranaut’s younger brother, Aksht, is married. The actor shared images from his wedding to Ritu on Thursday in Udaipur.
Sharing photos with the newlyweds, Kangana wrote: “Welcome to our Ritu family …” In the picture Kangana could be seen laughing and the newlyweds posed for the camera. They all looked resplendent in their wedding finery.
Sharing another batch of photos, Kangana wrote: “Dear friends, bless my brother Aksht and his new wife Ritu, I hope you find great company in this new stage of your life.”
Previously, the actress and her sister Rangoli Chandel had shared several photos and videos from the pre-wedding ceremonies. One of them was a video of the sisters dancing.
Sharing the video on Instagram, her team wrote: “Kangana at the Mehandi ceremony. The vibes. ”It showed Kangana and Rangoli spinning as a traditional Rajasthani band performed a popular folk song, Keshariya, Padhaaro Mhare Des. Seconds later, a Kalbeliya dancer joined the two on stage. While Kangana was dressed in a Cream colored lehenga choli, Rangoli was seen wearing a red sari.
Kangana had also shared the same video on Twitter and mentioned how happy she was about journalist Arnab Goswami’s release from prison after obtaining bail. She had written: “Yes, it’s a great day for our family, but I just met ki #arnabisback So here we go … Welcome back, dear friend …”
Kangana and Rangoli have been sharing photos from the wedding. On Wednesday, sharing many photos from the haldi and mehendi ceremonies, Kangana had written, “Bhai ki shaadi.” Sharing another image, where Aksht is seen showing off her mehendi, she wrote: “The little galaxy in my bholu’s hand is next to me.”
Rangoli shared more photos of the place.
Rangoli also shared several photos from the pre-wedding ceremonies. She also shared video clips of the wedding venue. By sharing a photo of the sisters applying mehendi on their brother’s hands, Rangoli had written: “Haldi Mehandi Ceremony.” The image showed the sisters sitting on either side of their brother as their fiancee Ritu watched. His hands were made with more elaborate patterns. The whole place had been decorated with flowers, with marigolds and white flowers dominating the show. It was a mix of morning and evening performances.

Kangana had previously said why her brother’s wedding was being held in Udaipur. She had written how the Ranauts originally came from Udaipur. “This is such a lovely time for my family and me, I am organizing my brother’s destination wedding in Udaipur, where the Ranauts originally come from, and now I am going to my parents house, because of corona, now it is a small intimate gathering, but the emotion is the same. “
