Cricketer Virat Kohli may have taken paternity leave from the upcoming Australian tour after the first test, but he is still preparing for the matches he is supposed to play. His wife, actress Anushka Sharma shared a photo of him cleaning his shoes.
Anushka used Instagram Stories to share Virat’s photo. “Caught the husband diligently cleaning his muddy picks before the tour,” she wrote in her post. In the photo, Virat is seen in a blue T-shirt and cleaning his shoes with a toothbrush over the bathroom sink.

Anushka and Virat are expecting their first child in January. The BCCI has granted him paternity leave and he will return to India after the inaugural test match, scheduled for December 17 in Adelaide. The tour will begin on November 27 with a three-game ODI series, followed by three T20I, starting on December 4, and four test matches.
On her birthday last week, Anushka had shared two photos of her and Virat while giving her hugs and kisses. She was with him in Dubai for the Indian Premier League. Virat is the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. While one of the images sees Anushka leaning her face against his as they embrace, the other sees her kissing him on the cheeks.

On August 27, Anushka and Virat had announced their pregnancy and said they would be welcoming their first child in January 2021. At the time, the Indian captain and his wife used Twitter to make the announcement while sharing a photo of themselves.
“And then, there were three of us! It will arrive in January 2021, ”the couple wrote in their individual captions, stating that Anushka is about four months pregnant.
