Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder Hardik Pandya dedicated the team’s triumph in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) to his son Agastya. The Mumbai Indians chased their 157-race goal with eight deliveries to spare to beat the capitals of Delhi by five wickets and lift their fifth IPL trophy. “This is for you, Agastya,” he tweeted, along with a photo of him lifting the trophy. “I love this team!” added Hardik, who scored 281 runs in 14 games with an impressive hit rate of 178.98 this season.

Agastya was born on July 30 to Hardik and his partner Natasa Stankovic. Hardik and Natasa announced their engagement on January 1.

Hardik Pandya has been a key player in the Mumbai Indians campaign. Despite not being able to bowl, he touched death like a whirlwind to help the Mumbai Indians defend their crown.

In Tuesday’s final, played by Shreyas Iyer, the Mumbai Indians attacked in the first installment of the 2020 IPL final to fire Marcus Stoinis. Delhi soon tottered on 3/22 before Iyer and Rishabh Pant reached half the centuries to bring them to 7/156.

Boult was the star with the ball, taking three wickets, including two in the Powerplay.

Quinton de Kock gave Mumbai a quick start, before beating Marcus Stoinis. Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav continued to function until confusion caused Suryakumar to sell out.

Rohit Sharma went on to score a 68 of 51 balls before being fired by Anrich Nortje. But Ishan Kishan, who was undefeated at age 33, watched the game with eight deliveries to spare.

Hardik made three runs before losing his wicket with the scores tied. However, his brother Krunal made the winning race to finish the job for the Mumbai Indians.
