Actress Anushka Sharma, who is expecting her first child with her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, has shared a photo of her South Indian meal. Anushka also posted a funny photo of Virat cleaning her own ‘spikes’ before her next ‘tour’.
“Oh blessing,” the actor captioned the image of the food, a traditional South Indian pasta, on a banana leaf. In her next post, which showed Virat using a toothbrush to clean the spikes on her shoes, she wrote: “Caught the husband diligently cleaning his muddy spikes before the tour.”
Anushka and Virat have been to the UAE, where the last season of the Indian Premier League is played. The actor was seen cheering for Virat from the stands, on several occasions.
The actor had recently shared a post about longing for an ideal Durga Ashtami meal, which included some poori-chana and halwa. Taking the Instagram Stories, Anushka shared a picture of the spread and wrote in her caption, “I missed this today and how,” adding a sad face emoji.

Virat and Anushka shared the news of their pregnancy on Instagram, along with the caption: “And then, there were three of us! It will arrive in January 2021. “Last month, Anushka called motherhood” humbling. “Sharing a photo of herself, she wrote on Instagram:” Nothing is more real and humbling than experiencing the creation of life in you. The couple also recently held Virat’s birthday party in Dubai. Photos and videos of Virat with cake smeared on her face were also circulating on social media.
