Patna:
Luv Sinha, a congressional candidate in the Bihar assembly elections and the son of actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha, is lagging behind in his constituency as votes were counted in the state today.
Sinha, 37, participated in the assembly of Bankipore, which is part of the Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituency that elected her father twice to parliament when he was in the BJP.
He is behind the three-time BJP MLA Nitin Nabin. Bankipur voted in the second of the three-phase assembly elections in the state.
Bankipore is considered to be a stronghold of the BJP, as is Patna Sahib. Caste has played an important role in the choice of candidates; both belong to the upper caste Kayasthas.
For the first time, it appears that the BJP will become the largest party in Bihar. The party is fighting Bihar polls with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United or JDU. The Rashtriya Janata Dal United opposition alliance of Tejashwi Yadav, Congress and the Left Parties, which started the day with a close fight, is far behind.
This is the first choice for Luv Sinha, who tried his luck in Bollywood. It was last seen in the 2018 movie “Paltan“. His first movie”,Sadiyaan“It was in 2010.
He is the third in his family to participate in the elections. Her mother, Poonam Sinha, was the Samajwadi Party candidate for the 2019 Lucknow national elections, where Union Minister Rajnath Singh won.
