West Bengal BJP Chairman Dilip Ghosh vowed on Sunday to drop “bogus cases against political leaders” across the party spectrum if the BJP comes to power in West Bengal after next year’s Assembly elections.
“Only at the first Cabinet meeting, we will decide to withdraw all false political cases, not only against the BJP workers, but also against the CPI (M), Congress and even the TMC leaders who were punished to prevent them from joining the BJP. ”Ghosh said as he headed to a meeting in Haldia.
He even lured the ruling workers of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) into his party fold, saying they would continue to be mistreated in this way if they did not leave the TMC.
Further warning the “antisocial elements” of the ruling party to amend themselves, he added that the next Assembly election in the state will be held under the supervision of the central forces.
“We want to establish a democratic rule here. So the upcoming elections will not be monitored by the didi police (Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee) but by dada (Prime Minister Narendra Modi). The khaki-clad state trooper will sit away chewing tobacco, ”he joked.
In addition, he warned TMC workers “who have not made amends so far” to do so, otherwise they would lose their lives, not just their limbs. “Amend your ways in six months or prepare to lose your limbs and your life in the worst cases,” he threatened the workers of the ruling party.
Citing the example of Bihar, where the Assembly elections have just concluded, he said that during the government of RJD Prime Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, there was a “raj from the jungle”, which changed to “democracy” during the government of the JD’s NDA. Coalition (U) -BJP.
“In Lalu raj, the raj jungle prevailed in Bihar. People were killed. In the NDA rule, we established democracy. Now there is no bombardment or shooting, no lathi charge, no stoning. This is called raj (rule) of BJP, ”Ghosh said.
West Bengal is scheduled to go to the Assembly elections next year.
