DU 5th Cut-Off List 2020 for Science: Open Math Admission at Hindu, Miranda House and Kirori Mal

The University of Delhi today released the 5th DU 2020 cut-off list for admission to undergraduate (UG) programs at the university for the 2020-21 academic session. The fifth list has been published individually by the universities, citing the cut marks by category and by course. A separate DU mixed cut list for Science, Arts and Commerce programs will be available on the official website of the University of Delhi shortly.

For the first time, Zakir Husain Delhi College published the fifth cut list around 5pm. For Zakir Husain Delhi College, according to the fifth DU cut list, admission to most courses for the non-reserved category has been closed. However, candidates in the reserved categories can still apply for admission to multiple courses.

Under the fifth DU cut list, at Hansraj College, admission is closed for most honors programs in the Science stream for the unreserved category. The university was accepting students under the fourth cut-list in the Computer Science program for which the score had been established at 95.33%. Admission to the remaining programs was closed under the third DU cut list.

At Hindu College, admission is still open for the unreserved category in the Chemistry and Mathematics programs. The cut-off of the Chemistry program was reduced 0.5 percentage points and closed at 97.66%. For the math program, cut-off marks were reduced from 98.25% on the fourth cut-off list to 97.75%. Admissions to two BSc (Hons) courses have been closed: Physics and Zoology.

Science admission at Kirorimal College is open for: Math and Physics honors programs, both at 96%, however, at Lady Shri Ram, admission is closed for all science programs against the 5th DU cut list .

At Miranda House, the cut in Chemistry registered a marginal increase from 96.50% to 96.66%. For the Life Sciences course, the university still accepts admission at 96%.

At Gargi College, under the fifth cut-off list, admission is open only for programs including Botany and Chemistry with 87.33 percent and 88 percent for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

In the wake of COVID-19, the DU intake process is taking place online this year. The university will allow candidates who have already taken admission against the previous cut-off lists to withdraw and admit admission against the fifth cut as of November 9.
