IPL 2020 LIVE SCORE, SRH vs RCB Eliminator: Warner, Pandey stand their ground in Hyderabad after losing to Goswami

IPL 2020 LIVE SCORE, Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore latest updates:

Warner springs into action here as Washington Sundar enters the attack. Warner creates space on the first ball by walking away and hitting the shot to mark the limit. The next ball is no ball and a free hit when ABD broke the stumps before the shot was offered. Fortunately, the free hit was only a single, leading Pandey to strike. And the guy from Bangalore beautifully crossed the gap between the middle and the extra coverage to add another limit. 12 from the end.

Advance: Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League Eliminator at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

These are the two teams that will reach the Eliminator with contrasting finishes and will be formed in the group stage. RCB got off to a good start in the tournament but then traveled a bumpy road and that journey hit a snag when they lost their last four league stage matches, luckily for them they had done enough in the opening matches to secure the classification.

SRH, on the other hand, had a roller coaster ride early on and left it too late. They performed well under pressure in life and death situations and won their last three games comprehensively to qualify for the Playoffs.

RCB needs to press the reset button now. His biggest concern has been his hitting issue. They seem to be overly cautious and then rely on AB de Villiers for late blooming. It had worked in the past, but not always and it has hurt them. They need to play with a little more freedom and intention to get started.

RCB hopes that Kohli will return to his best level. He has scored 9.7 and 29 in his last three games. Devdutt Padikkal has been their best player in the tournament and the team will rely on him to establish the platform again. You will need the support of the other hitters who can take some pressure off your shoulders.

The bowlers have done well in the tournament and the spinning duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar will be the key. Virat would be looking to unleash Washington early against Warner and it will be fascinating to watch that battle unfold. It will be interesting to see if Kohli plays Isuru Udana or Moeen Ali with the slower terrains.

SRH, on the other hand, has been reactivated after the arrival of Wriddhiman Saha. That starting position from Warner and Saha will be crucial. Warner’s consistency and Saha’s aggression has been an ideal match for them at the top. The middle order has gotten cold and cold during the tournament and a lot will be expected from them in case the first ones don’t shoot. That resounding victory against the Mumbai Indians would have given them a lot of confidence. And that would play an important role against RCB.

The bowling department has done well too. Sandeep Sharma has been your silent warrior in the power game. While Rashid Khan has been as brilliant as ever in the middle, Shahbaz Nadeem was excellent against MI and T Natarajan got his mojo back. SRH would not seek to play the winning combination.

In the two times that these two teams met in the group stage, both teams won one match each. RCB beat SRH by 10 runs in Dubai in their first meeting, while SRH beat RCB by five wickets in Sharjah in the second.
