Consumed ‘charas’ at my home: former Pakistani paceman makes big claims about Imran Khan – cricket

Former Pakistani fast bowler Sarfraz Nawaz has made a big claim on Pakistan’s prime minister and 1992 World Cup winning captain Imran Khan during a conversation with a Pakistani news channel. In the video, Nawaz claims that Khan used to use cannabis and cocaine during his playing career.

“He (Imran Khan) has been using cannabis, he used to do it in London and even at my house. In 1987, when Pakistan faced England in a cricket match and I was not bowling well, he had come to my house together with Mudassar, Mohsin Khan, Abdul Qadir, Salim Malik in Islamabad to eat. There he had consumed charas. He also snorts something and also uses cocaine. In London, I would roll something up and inhale it, ”Nawaz said in the video, which was posted on YouTube a few days ago.

“Bring him in front of me and let’s see if he denies it. I am not the only eyewitness, there are many others in London, “he added when the presenter asked him if he himself had seen Khan use drugs.

It is not new that a former Pakistani cricketer has attacked Imran Khan. A few months ago, Pakistani cricket legend Javed Miandad made some explosive statements against Imran Khan, accusing him of ruining the cricket situation in Pakistan by favoring foreigners over compatriots for several key positions on the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Miandad was not happy about Imran appointing Wasim Khan to an influential position on the country’s cricket board.

“All PCB officials do not know the ABC of sport. I will speak personally with Imran Khan about the sad situation. I will not leave anyone who is not suitable for our country, “said Miandad on his official YouTube channel.

“You appointed a foreigner in a key position. What will happen when you flee the country after committing corruption? Is there a shortage of people in your own country that you had to bring in from abroad to work at the PCB, ”added Miandad.

Sarfraz Nawaz, who was Imran Khan’s bowling partner, represented Pakistan in 55 events and 45 ODIs during his international career.
