In an online press conference, he said parents are not in favor of reopening schools. The Delhi government had previously announced that schools would remain closed until October 31.
He tweeted: “Due to Corona in Delhi, all schools will remain closed until further orders. Currently, online and semi-online studies will continue. “Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal also previously ruled out reopening schools in the state.

Nearly 2,500 parents of children studying in Delhi schools had previously made a representation before the office of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, requesting that schools not be opened this academic year due to the ongoing pandemic.
In an email to the CMO, the Delhi Parents Association sent brief contributions and opinions from 2,498 parents, almost all of whom stated that they are not comfortable sending their children to schools currently.
According to the Center’s “unblocking” guidelines, states can receive a call about the reopening of schools in phases that were previously allowed from class 9 to 12. Schools remained closed from March 16 following the instructions of the Center to contain the spread of COVID-19.
