Pilot, the star activist in Congress, is on a two-day tour of the seats in the Gwalior-Chambal region that go to the polls. He refrained from making direct comments about Jyotiraditya Scindia and his MLA team leaving Congress to topple the Kamal Nath government earlier this year.

Pilot, who has a strong influence on the Gujjar community in the region, urged people not to divide between classes and castes, but to distinguish between “satya and asatya” and “dharma and adharma” by voting for Congress and restoring democracy. . process in MP.

Shortly after Pilot’s arrival at MP, he is said to have met BJP Rajya Sabha MP Scindia. Later, Scindia told the media that anyone can campaign for the polls, as that is part of the democratic process.

Addressing the meeting in Gwalior, Pilot accused Chouhan of making a back door entrance and sitting on “people’s chests” after being “sent home” in the 2018 Assembly polls. The former MP CM of Rajasthan said he had come to campaign for Congress when asked by senior leader Kamal Nath and assured that he will do whatever is necessary to strengthen the party’s position in the state.

He recounted the Vyapam scam under the Chouhan government and said many innocent lives were lost.

On Tuesday, he also went to Shivpuri and Morena before reaching Gwalior.

He said: “There is a lot of anger in people about how Congress lost power and the response in these districts was very positive.” Pilot is expected to tour the remaining seats of the Gwalior-Chambal region before returning to Rajasthan.
