US President Donald Trump mocked Sen. Kamala Harris on Monday, saying her frequent outbursts of laughter at serious questions suggest “something is wrong” with the Democratic vice presidential nominee.
The 74-year-old Trump, who is seeking re-election, is campaigning intensely in Pennsylvania, a state he narrowly won in 2016. On Monday, the president was scheduled to address three election rallies. The first two drew thousands of people and by the third, in rural Pennsylvania, thousands of his followers had lined up hours before his address.
In the first rally, Trump, in between his speech, mentioned the laugh of the 56-year-old Harris during a television appearance Sunday night and said it was strange.
“(Joe) Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris … Did you see her on TV last night with a laugh?” Trump asked his supporters at the rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania, for a battlefield and a win-win state for the president to remain in the White House for the next four years.
“Did anyone watch 60 Minutes? Which is a total joke of a show … Did you see his (Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden) performance on that show? The only thing almost as bad was Kamala, with the laugh. Haha, that’s so funny. Hahaha. She kept laughing. I said, ‘Is something wrong with her too?’ Trump joked.
“She will not be the first female president, you cannot allow that to happen. I said, ‘Is something wrong?’ She kept laughing at very, you know, serious questions, ”he said.
If elected, Harris would be the first female vice president of the United States and would be one step away from the presidency. Biden, 77, leads Pennsylvania in recent polls.
Harris laughed at journalist Norah O’Donnell’s question during the ’60 Minutes’ interview about being rated the ‘most liberal’ senator by GovTrack. She laughed again when she called herself someone who likes hip-hop.

O’Donnell pressed Harris on whether she brings a “socialist or progressive perspective” to the Democratic list. “No, no,” Harris replied, laughing immediately.
“He was laughing at a horrible question about her, he just laughed, found it very funny. The most liberal senator is by far the most liberal senator. He’s more liberal than crazy Bernie. It even sponsored the $ 100 billion Green New Deal, ”Trump said.

He said that if Biden and his Democratic Socialists are elected, they will delay the coronavirus vaccine, delay therapies, prolong the pandemic and close schools.
