Angry students organize protests

Meanwhile, Agarwal College students have shown their anguish by sitting down in a protest on Mathura Road on the National Highway to protest against the law and order situation in Ballabgarh.

They say the police can come to the university to issue challans, but they cannot put a PCR van outside the university to maintain the law and order situation.

“If there was a female police officer outside the university today or a RCP was deployed outside the university, then this incident could have been prevented,” the students said.

How Nikita Tomar was killed in broad daylight in Ballabgarh

Nikita Tomar’s family alleges that she was shot dead by her abandoned lover and his partner outside their university in Faridabad in a ‘love jihad’ case, adding that she was being forced to convert her religion and marry the accused. Nikita, a B.Com senior at the university, had left the premises after showing up for an exam. A CCTV recording of the incident has gone viral on social media.

The defendant, who arrived at the scene in a car, attempted to take Nikita inside in a possible attempt to kidnap her. She, however, resisted and was then shot by one of the accused.
