Reuters reported that Trump and Biden continue to compete for votes in the battlefield states this past week, with a focus on Pennsylvania, a state deemed crucial for any candidate who wins the election.
“Despite Biden’s solid lead in national opinion polls, the contest seems tighter in the most critical battle states that could decide the outcome. A Reuters / Ipsos poll conducted October 20-26 gave Biden a slight edge over Trump in Pennsylvania, ”Reuters said. The 2020 elections have been among the most contentious in US election history, and voter fraud has been a major problem. Last weekend, a man had been observed setting fire to an urn in Boston. The Associated Press had reported that the FBI was investigating the case and that on Sunday, a 39-year-old Boston resident was arrested on charges of “setting fire to a Boston ballot box and damaging dozens of ballots.”
According to the AP report, “There were 122 ballots inside the ballot box when it was emptied Sunday morning, and 87 of them were still legible and could be processed.” Read the report here.
