IPL 2020 points table and updated Orange Cap and Purple Cap list after Kings XI Punjab win over Kolkata Knight Riders – cricket

The Kings XI Punjab continued their rise in the Indian Premier League points table by recording their fifth consecutive win of the season on Saturday. KXIP defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 8 wickets to bring their points table to 12 in 12 games. It was a clinical performance by the KXIP bowlers as they managed to restrict KKR to just 149. Then Chris Gayle and Mandeep Singh reached fifty to secure KXIP’s victory. With the victory, KXIP advances to fourth place ahead of Kolkata Knight Riders, who have 12 points from the same number of games but a lower net execution rate.

There is no other move in the top four other than this one. The bottom half of the table is the one where the teams keep going up and down.
