CHENNAI: Twitter has suspended the account of Bjp Chairman of the Arts and Culture Wing of the Tamil Nadu Unity Gayathri raghuram for breaking the rules.
She posted a series of tweets concerning the VCK controversy Leader Thol Thirumavalan statement on Manusmriti.
Gayathri’s account (@gayathriraguram) had 3.69 lakh followers, including several high-level BJP leaders. His account was suspended Sunday morning.

“Twitter suspends accounts that violate Twitter rules,” the page found.
“We will take the necessary measures to recover his account,” said the chairman of the party’s state IT cell, CTR Nirmal Kumar. It would take a minimum of one week to recover the account.
Gayathri’s account was suspended last year for his threads on caste lines in violation of Twitter rules. According to the rules, if an account engages in “abusive behavior”, such as sending threats, and the same is reported, the account would be suspended.
Gayathri was not available for comment.
