Former India captain MS Dhoni is one of the most respected figures among cricketers and during the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), he has often been seen chatting about cricket with youngsters of his rival teams after matches. While Yuzvendra Chahal is not a rookie, he didn’t miss an opportunity to catch up with the hitter-goalie. Chahal shared on social media a photo with Dhoni after his Royal Challengers Bangalore team lost to Chennai Super Kings in Dubai.

While RCB may have lost the game on Sunday, the two teams have had contrasting fortunes in IPL 2020. The team led by Virat Kohli is among the favorites to qualify for the playoffs, and currently with 14 points from 11 games, tied. with the Indians of Mumbai and Capitals of Delhi. However, RCB is third in the points table due to the other two teams having a better net run rate.
Chennai Super Kings have been eliminated from contention for a playoff spot following the Rajasthan Royals’ 8 wicket victory over Mumbai Indians on Sunday.

In a season in which pacemakers have dominated the ground carrier charts, Chahal has been the most prolific spinner at IPL 2020, and is fifth in the race for the Purple Cap. SunRisers Hyderabad’s Rashid Khan, who is seventh with 14 wickets, is the next best spinner on the list.
