Four-Day Army Commanders Conference Kicking Off Today in Delhi | India News


NEW DELHI: The four-day Army Commanders Conference, a biennial top-level event, formulates important political decisions through collegiate deliberations at indian army, will start in New Delhi from today.
The event will feature the presence of senior Army commanders, including the Deputy chief of the Army General Staff, all Army Commanders, Senior Staff Officers (PSO) of army headquarters and other senior officers.
“The first day will be dedicated to deliberating on matters related to Human Resources Management. Minister of Defense Rajnath singh he will address the conference on October 27, 2020. Ahead of the Defense Minister’s speech, the CDS and the three Heads of Service (COAS, CNS and CAS) will address the conference, “the Indian Army said in a statement.
The third day will be devoted to in-depth discussions on the various agenda items projected by the different Army Commanders, including an update from CINCAN. This will be followed by brief updates on various topics from the various senior personnel officers.
The last day of the conference will include an update from the Director General of Border Roads (DGBR) on the various infrastructure development projects being carried out by the Border Roads Organization (BRO) and allied formations. Automation initiatives to optimize the utilization of manpower at various levels of the Army will also be discussed.
The conference will close with the presentation of the Sports Trophy and Flight Safety Trophy, followed by the closing speech of the COAS.
