RR thrash MI to keep playoff hopes alive, CSK returns to end of points tally


At Dream 11 IPL 2020, Rajasthan Royals edged the Mumbai Indians by eight wickets in match no. 45 of the 2020 Indian Premier League on Sunday to move up to sixth position on the 2020 IPL points table.

Pursuing a challenging 196-run goal, RR rode a brilliant century unbeaten from Ben Stokes and a half century undefeated from Sanju Samson to cross the finish line in just 18.2 overs.

Rajasthan now has 10 points in their bag, having won five of their 12 games.

Earlier in the day, Chennai Super Kings finally got back on the winning track when they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 wickets in match no. 44 of the 2020 Indian Premier League.

CSK moved to seventh place after winning the match, but that was short-lived as they returned to last place in the points tally after RR won their game against MI.

The MS Dhoni team now has 8 points from 12 games and a net run rate of -0.602.
