Chirag Paswan, leader of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), said at a rally on Sunday that Prime Minister Nitish Kumar would be behind bars if his party came to power.
“Nitish Kumar and his officers will be behind bars if we come to power,” Paswan said.
Addressing a demonstration in Dumraon, Buxar in the run-up to the elections in Bihar, Paswan raised several questions with the current state government.

“The prohibition of alcohol in Bihar has failed. The illicit liquor is being sold widely and Nitish Kumar is taking bribes, ”Paswan said.
The LJP leader sought votes from BJP supporters for a “Nitish free government.”
“I ask you to vote for the LJP candidates to implement # Bihar1stBihari1st. Everywhere vote for the BJP. The next government will be a Nitish-free government, ”he tweeted in Hindi.
Paswan, head of the LJP, a former NDA ally, has openly criticized Kumar, who is the NDA’s top ministerial candidate. However, he has pledged his support to the Prime Minister, calling himself “Hanuman of Modi”.

The Bihar Assembly elections will be held in three phases on October 28, November 3 and November 7. The result will be declared on November 10.
