DC bowling has been one of the best in the tournament and their hitting has been formidable. Shikhar Dhawan has turned on fifth gear and is hitting superbly. But DC still needs to fix some cracks in his armor. Prithvi Shaw has struggled at the top lately with scores of 19, 4, 0, 0, 7. Rishabh Pant is back but hasn’t clicked in recent matches with scores of 5 and 14.
In the bowling department, Tushar Deshpande had a bad day against KXIP going for 41 of 2 overs and would be looking to bounce back. The spinning duo of Axar Patel and R Ashwin will form the fulcrum of your bowling lineup. They would expect Anrich Nortje, who missed the last game due to injury, to return. He has been brilliant in the tournament and his association with Rabada has been lethal.
KKR batting fighters face a great challenge against a formidable DC bowling lineup. With the other teams at the second-half table gaining momentum, KKR will have to be vigilant and try to win as many games as they can to stay ahead in the race for the Playoffs.
