Pakistan: quadcopter shot down by Indian army in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir

Indian army troops shot down a Pakistani army quadcopter along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keran sector of the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

According to Indian army officers, the Pakistan army quadcopter was shot down today around 8am.

“Indian army troops shot down a Pakistani army quadcopter around 8 am today along the Line of Control in the Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The Pakistani quadcopter manufactured by the Chinese company DJI Mavic 2 Pro model was shot down while flying over its own position there, ”an official told ANI.

The Indian Army has been on high alert against Pakistan’s attempts to infiltrate terrorists or carry out Border Action Team (BAT) attacks by its special forces against Indian positions on the Line of Control.

The army chief, General Manoj Mukund Naravane, had recently said that Pakistan has been trying to continue its nefarious designs to push terrorists into Indian territory, but those attempts are being thwarted by Indian troops deployed to the front.

Pakistan has been trying to push back the terrorists before the snowfall closes off all possible infiltration routes on the border.
