With the constant delay in cleaning usurpations of stormwater drains in the city, led to the overflow of water from storm water drainage on the Hosakerehalli roads in the Padmanabhanagar assembly segment.

This caused major flooding and traffic jams in many parts of the city.

Traffic was disrupted in many parts, and many were stranded when the water rose to dangerous levels. One traveler, caught in a traffic jam on Mysore Road, said: “We had to wait for more than an hour near Kumbalgodu due to the traffic jam near Kengeri.”

The invasion of the storm water drain is the main reason for the overflow of water on the road.
