Narayan, who is also the head of the Higher Education Department, said that for the students who will stay in SC / ST, the social welfare shelters and OBC all the necessary security measures will be taken, the necessary transportation arrangements will also be made. to facilitate the conduct of classes. .

The development comes after CM Yediyurappa chaired the meeting of officials from the departments of health, social welfare, backward classes, finance, transportation and education, along with Narayan on starting classes at universities.

The Interior Ministry’s ‘Unblock 5’ guidelines have allowed schools to reopen across the country after October 15 in a phased manner. However, the decision will be made by the state governments and the administration of the Union’s territories.
