UPSC Civil Services 2020 Preliminary Results Declared – Check Here


The results of the Union Public Service Commission or the UPSC 2020 Preliminaries for the Preliminary Examination of Forest Services of the Civil Services and the Preliminary Examination of the Indian Forest Services in 2020 have been declared on Friday.

All those who have taken the UPSC Prelims 2020 exam, which took place on October 4 of this year, can now download their results at upsc.gov.in.

“Based on the result of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 conducted on 04/10/2020, candidates with the following List numbers have qualified for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Exam, 2020,” It reads in a government issued order.

“Candidates are also informed that the scores, cut-off marks and answer keys for the screening test conducted through the CS (P) 2020 exam will be uploaded to the Commission’s website, that is, https: //upsc.gov.in, only after the entire process of the Civil Services Exam, 2020 has ended, that is, after the declaration of final result, “he added.

Follow these steps to verify your result:

1) Open the UPSC Civil Services 2020 preliminaries results link – upsc.gov.in

2) A PDF file will open

3) Scroll down to the list of shortlisted numbers for the main exam

4) Candidates can search their roster number using the ‘Search’ option or scroll through the roster

5) Roll numbers are given in chronological order.

Applicants whose roster numbers are on the roster have qualified the exam and are now eligible to sit for the 2020 UPSC Civil Services Major Exam, scheduled for January 8 of next year.

Roll numbers that are not available on the list have not passed the preliminary examination.

The UPSC had taken special precautions due to the coronavirus guidelines. Approximately 10.58 lakhs of candidates had registered for the UPSC civil services exam preliminaries. Candidates who sat for the exam rated the work as difficult and the work followed the pattern of preliminaries from previous years.
