Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin his campaign for the Bihar Assembly elections from Friday. On the first day, he will hold rallies in Sasaram, Gaya and Bhagalpur.

According to the schedule announced by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the prime minister will address 12 rallies for the candidates of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). On October 28, the rallies will be held in Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur and Patna. And on November 3, PM Modi will hold demonstrations in Chhapra, East Champaran and Samastipur along with West Champaran, Saharsa and Araria.

Given that the prime minister would start his campaign from Sasaram, a seat that went to Governor Janata Dal (United) in the last state elections, his message there would be crucial just before the first phase of voting on October 28, the day in he will be back in Bihar for a second round of rallying.

In an effort to reach as many people as possible amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the BJP will digitally broadcast PM Modi’s rallies in Bihar.

“We will hold meetings in every five villages in a constituency through LEDs in parallel. In this way we will hold 100 meetings at the same time. This will be our effort to ensure social distancing in light of Covid-19, ”said Devendra Fadnavis, former Senior Minister of Maharashtra and responsible for the Bihar Assembly elections for BJP.

On Sunday he held a strategy meeting in Bodh Gaya to discuss increasing the scope of Prime Minister Modi’s rallies.

Speaking about the outreach plans, BJP State President Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal said: “There will be four LED screens and one giant screen in all constituencies of the assembly, which will broadcast the prime minister’s speech,” he added. All the candidates would be present in their respective constituencies and would address the people in the open before the start of the Prime Minister’s speech.

All PM Modi rally venues will have restricted entry, the BJP said. Guidelines for Covid-19 issued by the Election Commission of India will be followed, he added.

The BJP and Janata Dal (United) agreed on a formula for the distribution of seats 121-122 for the 243-member assembly in Bihar, which will take place in three phases: October 28, November 3 and 7, and the counting of votes will take place. place on November 10.
