The result of the second assignment of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA) will be announced today, that is, on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. The result of the second assignment of JoSAA 2020 will be available after 10.00 pm on the website official: josaa.nic.in. Candidates who have requested the advice of JoSSA are advised to visit the official website – josaa.nic.in – to check the details of the number of seats occupied in the first round, the number of seats available after that and the result of the second assignment.

The information available on the website says “The result of the seat allocation for round 2 will be available soon.”

Online reporting, fee payment / document upload / second assignment-based query candidate response can be done on or before October 23 at 5:00 PM. The deadline for responding to inquiries is October 24 at 5:00 p.m. and the withdrawal of places and departure from the counseling must also be done within that period.

This year, JoSAA will launch 6 rounds of assignment instead of the usual seven to make up for lost time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The result of the first JoSAA 2020 assignment was published on October 17, 2020 and the online reports were made until October 19.

The Joint Space Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2020 has been created by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] manage and regulate the joint allocation of admission places to 110 institutes for the 2020-21 academic year. This includes 23 IIT, 31 NIT, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIIT and 29 other government funded technical institutes (Other-GFTI). Admission to all academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.
