‘If Nitish Kumar wins, Bihar will lose’: Chirag Paswan’s last salvo against JD (U) boss

On Wednesday, the head of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Chirag Paswan, again pointed his guns at Bihar Prime Minister Nitish Kumar for “not developing the state at the same speed as other states as envisioned by the first Minister Narendra Modi “.

“To keep talking about nali-gali and water for the farms after 15 years in power is going to be useless. ‘Nali-gali’ is not a development criterion. These are basic requirements that should have happened a long time ago, ”he said while posting his party’s vision document ‘Bihar 1st, Bihari 1st’ in Patna.

Chirag, who has seen his offensive against the JD (U) boss relentless, went on to say: “If Nitish Kumar wins, Bihar will lose.”

The LJP is contesting 137 seats this time and has run candidates, including rebels from the BJP, in all the seats contested by Nitish Kumar’s JD (U), adding a new twist to Bihar’s assembly elections.

Chirag said that in an agricultural state like Bihar, water for each farm is something that should have been the government’s priority from day one and rather than waiting so long.

“There is great anger against the prime minister, but I credit the BJP with sticking to his words for once announcing Nitish Kumar as the CM candidate and backing him despite knowing everything,” he added.

The head of the LJP said that migration was the biggest problem in the state and was evident during the pandemic, but the state has no plan to control it.

“The CM has no plans for the youth. He says that not everyone can get government jobs while the government has failed to bring industries into the state on the pretext that Bihar is a landlocked state. Many states are landlocked, but they have created jobs through industrialization and developed much faster, ”he said.

He said the LJP vision document was aimed at giving the state new hope and promise to young people of a better future. “It covers all aspects and has been developed by experts with suggestions from more than four thousand people. My late father Ram Vilas Paswan also contributed invaluable suggestions even from his hospital bed. This is the first time I will campaign without him, ”he added.

Chirag said it was time for Bihar to move away from vote banks and appeasement policies just to form a government. “It is the caste equation that becomes the guiding force in elections. Bihar CM also incites Casteism by playing a game of divide and rule. Bihar needs a progressive government, which could focus on health and education. A government is needed that can lead the state on the path of progress reflected in smiling faces, “he said.
