However, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu reiterated that everyone must follow social distancing of at least six feet, wear masks and wash their hands daily with soap.
Palaniswami said that the state has the highest percentage of people in India who have recovered from the deadly virus and returned home and that the death rate in the state was also low.
