BHOPAL: Prime Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and other party leaders sat for a two-hour silent fast on Monday to protest against the former CM Kamal NathThe comment of the “article” against the minister of state, Imarti Devi.
Chouhan along with Ministers of State Narottam Mishra, Bhupendra Singh, Vishwas Sarang and some female BJP members started the ‘maun vrat’ (silent fast) at Minto Hall in Bhopal at 10 am.

Scindia, member of BJP’s Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha Member Shankar Lalwani sat in the silent protest in Regal Square in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue in Indore city.
In addition, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Madhya Pradesh BJP President Vishnu Dutt Sharma, party leader Prabhat Jha and some other leaders organized a similar protest in Gwalior.
Before the November 3 by-elections in the state, Nath while on his way to an electoral meeting on Sunday in the Dabra town of Gwalior, where the Congress He faces Imarti Devi, he said that his party candidate was a “simple person” unlike his opponent who is an “item”.

Imarti Devi and 21 other MLA members loyal to Scindia had resigned from Congress and the state assembly and joined the BJP in March this year, in the process of overthrowing the government led by Kamal Nath.
By-elections for 28 assembly seats in the state will be held on November 3, and the vote counting will take place on November 10.
