New Delhi [India], Oct 19 (ANI): Royal Challengers Bangalore spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh on Sunday indulged in a hilarious joke after the all-rounder predicted which team would qualify for the playoffs and play the final without the mention of RCB in the top four.
Currently, the defending champions Mumbai Indians are in second place with 12 points, two points less than the leading Delhi Capitals. Also, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Yuvraj surprisingly chose Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) after being impressed by Nicholas Pooran’s display of explosive hitting during the game against the Mumbai Indians on Sunday.
“Looks like the game changer tonight is going to be @ nicholas_47! The beautiful flow of the bat! It’s amazing to watch! Reminds me of someone I live with, Smiley Face! Play along! My prediction, I feel like @kxip will make it to the playoffs and play the final together with @mipaltan or @DelhiCapitals, “Yuvraj tweeted.
RCB star spinner Chahal jokingly said that we should go back to India after Yuvraj failed to name the team led by Virat Kohli in the top four.
“Bhaiya Hum india aajaye wapis?” Chahal tweeted.
Yuvraj then scoffed and came up with a hilarious response and said to come back after conceding more sixes and uprooting more grounds.
KXIP defeated the Mumbai Indians after the end of two consecutive Super Overs at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.
Interestingly, the first game of Sunday’s doubleheader was also decided after a Super Over. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) had defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a thrilling Super Over clash at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
With the win against the Mumbai Indians on Sunday, KXIP is in sixth place with six points from nine games and will now face the Delhi Capitals at the Dubai International Stadium on Tuesday, October 20 (ANI).
