NEET 2020 result: Indian Air Force congratulated Akanksha Singh who obtained AIR 2 in NEET 2020 exam on Sunday. She is the daughter of veteran Sergeant Rajendra Kumar Rao (Retd). Akanksha’s mother, Ruchi Singh, is a primary school teacher in a village.

Akanksha Singh is from Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh and scored 100 percent on the NEET (National Entry and Eligibility Test) exam. Speaking to IANS, Akansha said the lockdown period gave her more time to prepare for the medical entrance exam unlike other students who demanded that the exam be postponed.

She has attributed her success to her parents and to God. Akanksha passed his 11th and 12th class from the Pragati Public School in Delhi. Apart from studies, he likes to listen to songs.

Akanksha originally wanted to write the civil service exam. She said, “I used to think about becoming an IAS officer up to standard eight. Then the AIIMS hospital in Delhi became an inspiration for me, after which I started preparing for NEET.”

After taking the NEET exam, Akanksha, 17, expected to score 700 out of 720 points. However, it performed better than expected and scored 720 out of 720.

Expressing satisfaction with the result of his exam, Akanksha said: “I studied for 10 to 12 hours a day and followed the study material provided to me by my training institute. I also took online classes and watched public motivational videos.”

In particular, on the NEET 2020 exam, two candidates scored the highest according to officials from the National Testing Agency (NTA). Along with Akanksha Singh, Odisha’s Soyeb Aftab and they have scored 720 out of 720 marks, but Aftab was ranked first and Singh second based on the NTA tiebreaker policy, officials said.
