Happy Navratri 2020 wishes images, quotes, status, messages, photos: Celebrating good over evil is always a time of joy, and this is exactly what Navratri is all about. The nine-day festival is dedicated to the various forms of Goddess Durga, during which devotees chant sacred mantras and worship the great value of Maa Durga.
During the nine days, the devotees follow a fasting ritual. Fasting, unlike other holidays, is a bit difficult because not only is one supposed to abstain from onion or garlic, but also to get rid of table salt along with legumes and grains.

This year, Navratris begins on October 17 with Shailputri (one of the nine forms of the goddess) puja, and ends on October 26 with Vijay Dashami and Durga visarjan (immersion of the idol).
