On Friday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) published the final answer key of the National Eligibility Test cum Entry (NEET) on their official websites.

The results were also announced and candidates can visit the websites –ntaneet.nic.in or mcc.nic.in to check their qualifications. Candidates should know that the NEET 2020 result can only be downloaded up to 90 days from the filing date.

NTA has already published the interim NEET response keys for all sections of the NTA NEET test and the candidates’ NEET OMR sheets.

2020 Neet Limit: The NEET Limit is the minimum score that candidates must obtain on the entrance exam to be eligible to apply for admission to MBBS / BDS courses. The limit changes each year depending on factors such as the level of difficulty of the NEET exam, the number of applicants taking the exam, the availability of seats, etc. and it also varies by category.

The NEET 2020 exams concluded on September 13 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. About 85-90 percent of the 15.97 lakh candidates showed up for the NEET 2020 exam. Nearly 300 candidates, who missed the exams on September 13 due to the pandemic, took the test on Wednesday (October 14).

Previously, the Supreme Court ordered the NTA to announce the 2020 NEET result on October 16. The court also noted that candidates who were unable to sit for the NEET UG 2020 exam due to the COVID-19 pandemic will have the opportunity to appear for the test on October 14.

The Union Cabinet Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced on October 12 on Twitter that the results of NEET-UG 2020 will be announced on October 16, 2020. “The exact timing of the results will be released further. Go ahead. I wish the candidates all the best, “he tweeted.

Once the final answer key is published, candidates who have applied for the exam can verify it for all sets (E1-E6, F1-F6, G1-G6, H1-H6) by visiting the official NTA website .

NEET 2020 Ranking:

Along with the result, NTA would also release the 2020 NEET ranking list for all India quota. The state merit lists would be shared with the respective authorities, which would carry out the assessment for 85% of the medical and dental entries. For the 15 percent AIQ, NEET ranks and ratings are expected to vary.

To qualify for MBBS / BSD courses, candidates must achieve a minimum 50th percentile in NEET. For those who belong to reserved categories, including SC and ST categories, the minimum scores are the 40th percentile and for PwD candidates it is the 45th percentile.
