The National Testing Agency (NTA) will also publish a cut list prepared based on the NEET UG exam conducted on September 13 and October 14.
Although the authorities have not confirmed the timing, according to some media reports, the scores will be declared at 4 p.m. Friday.
This year, more than 14.37 lakhs of candidates have appeared for the NEET exam which was conducted following strict COVID-19 guidelines.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce today the results of the 2020 National Eligibility and Entry Test (NEET) (Friday, October 16) on its official website ntaneet.nic.in.
Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishak also tweeted that the results will be announced on October 16 and wished all candidates good luck.

To verify the result, students will need to enter their list number mentioned on the admission card and the date of birth in DD / MM / YYYY format.
More than 14.37 lakh candidates have appeared for the exam which was conducted following strict guidelines issued by the government in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A total of 15.97 lakhs of aspiring physicians had signed up for NEET UG 2020, of which 85-90 percent appeared in the phase 1 exam that took place on September 13.
Phase 2, or the 2020 NEET Special Exam, was held on October 14 for candidates who missed the medical entrance exam due to COVID-19 or were trapped in containment zones.

Up to 13,67,032 students appeared on the phase 1 exam, while 290 students took the entrance exam in phase 2.
Prior to reporting the results, NTA will post the final NEET 2020 answer key for all question document sets on its website. The final answer key will be available in PDF format and candidates can match their answers and estimate their score.

Step 1: Visit the NTA NEET 2020 Official Website – ntaneet.nic.in.
Step 2: On the home page, tap on the link that says ‘NEET UG Result 2020’
Step 3: Enter your exam list number, date of birth and hit the ‘submit’ button
Step 4: Your score, rating status and all India (AIR) ranking will be displayed on the page
Step 5: Check all details carefully before saving and taking a hard copy of your 2020 NEET scorecard
Candidates who fall into the general category must score a 50th percentile or higher to qualify for the exam. The limit for unreserved PH students is set at the 45th percentile and for the SC, ST, OBC category it is the 40th percentile.
NEET is held annually for admission to medical and related courses across the country. On the basis of the cut, students are admitted to 80,005 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc and AH places in medical and dental schools.
This year, NEET marks will be required for admission to 15 AIIMS and two JIPMER institutes.
