Rajasthan Royals will look to carry forward the confidence of their victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad. That win would have been a huge relief after four losses in a row. They are third from below with six points and now they would be looking to achieve consistency. It seemed that the fighting story would continue in SRH’s match as well after they were 78/5 of 12 overs in the 159 chase, but Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag showed great stamina and maturity to carry out the chase.
Tewatia has always done well with bat and ball and he will also be her favorite man this time around. To get some form would be a great shot in the arm for the middle order. However, the higher order needs to step up, these are some of the big names Jos Buttler, Steve Smith and Sanju Samson. Samson has faded after a solid start in the first two games. It will be interesting to see where Ben Stokes hits, he started in the last game but the play didn’t work out. The other question is whether RR will persist with Robin Uthappa, who has been struggling to get careers under his belt.
The bowling department did well against SRH. Jofra Archer, who has been brilliant on the power play, and Tewatia will be the key against a formidable DC batting lineup.
