LIVE SCORE & IPL UPDATES 2020, CSK 167/6 in 20 overs vs SRH in Dubai
The three-time champion and runner-up of last edition, CSK are looking to re-emerge their luck after suffering five defeats in seven games. They are currently in the penultimate position in the eight-team standings midway through the tournament. Regarded as one of the most successful hunters in IPL history with a pursuit master at Dhoni, CSK’s batting fight this year can be measured by the fact that all of their losses occurred while chasing targets. While Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis have had decent starts so far, CSK also need a stronger show from their shaky middle order. SRH, on the other hand, is only slightly better placed than CSK in fifth place with three wins in seven games. But the five-wicket loss to the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday would seriously hurt the Hyderabad team, as at one point, they appeared to be in full control after posting a competitive 158/4. Batting has not been a concern of SRH at all, as players like Jonny Bairstow, captain David Warner, Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson are between runs and have the ability to take responsibility on their own. But it’s the bowling alley that disappointed SRH on Sunday. Despite losing senior pacemakers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and all-rounder Mitchell Marsh to injuries, SRH has shown tremendous fighting skills with Rashid Khan and Yorker specialist T Natarajan doing the work on the side.
