A resident of the Balkum area said the supply was restored at 2 p.m. after it was turned off, however, it rang again at 6 p.m. for almost two hours.
Several residents of various areas of the city of Thane also took to Twitter to complain about the blackout, as they remain in the dark. However, Kolshet was one of the worst affected areas.
“@MSEDCL There is no restoration of power supply until 7.30pm at Everest World, Kolshet Road, Dhokali, Thane West,” Atish Maheshwari said.
