NEET Result 2020: Union Education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank Announces Result Date | India News


The Center announced Monday that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the Result of the 2020 National Cum Entry Eligibility Test (NEET) on October 16.

On the microblogging site Twitter, the Union Cabinet Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank made the announcement. He added that the exact timing of the results will be released later.

“NTA will declare NEET UG 2020 results on October 16, 2020. Exact timing of results will be released later. I wish the candidates the best,” he tweeted.

Previously, the Supreme Court ordered the NTA to announce the 2020 NEET result on October 16. The court also noted that candidates who were unable to sit for the NEET UG 2020 exam due to the COVID-19 pandemic will have the opportunity to appear for the test on October 14.

The NEET 2020 exams concluded on September 13 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. About 15.97 lakhs of applicants registered for the NEET 2020 exam. Of the total number of registered applicants, more than 13 lakhs of applicants have appeared, according to Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.

NEET is one of the highest competitive exams, opening up opportunities for students to enter the most prestigious medical schools. According to NTA officials, the NEET 2020 result will be posted online at – ntaneet.nic.in. Once published, candidates can check the results of the NTA NEET 2020 exam on the official website of the administering body: ntaneet.nic.in or mcc.nic.in.

Based on standard practice, NTA is likely to post NEET 2020 final answer key before posting NEET 2020 result online at ntaneet.nic.in. NTA has already published the interim NEET response keys for all sections of the NTA NEET test and the candidates’ NEET OMR sheets.
