National eligibility with proof of income, NEET 2020 result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to announce the 2020 National Entry and Eligibility Test (NEET) Result and final answer shortly on Monday (October 12).
NTA officials have reportedly previously confirmed that the NEET 2020 outcome will be declared on October 12. However, NTA has not yet released any notification regarding the release date of the NEET-UG results.
According to NTA officials, the NEET 2020 result is expected to be released online.
Once published, candidates can view the results of the NTA NEET 2020 exam on the official website of the administering body: ntaneet.ac.in or at mcc.nic.in.
Final answer key expected before declaration of results
Based on standard practice, NTA is likely to post NEET 2020 final answer key before posting NEET 2020 result online at ntaneet.nic.in. NTA has already published the interim NEET response keys for all sections of the NTA NEET test and the candidates’ NEET OMR sheets.
About 85-90 percent of the 15.97 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET 2020 exam. Candidates who missed exams after testing positive for COVID-19 will have another chance to take the test, the date of which will be announced later, according to officials.
In the meantime, the NTA could also release NEET’s final answer keys along with the NTA NEET exam results. Final answer keys will also be available to candidates on the official NEET website – ntaneet.nic.in.
NTA has already published the interim NEET response keys for all sections of the NTA NEET test and the candidates’ NEET OMR sheets.
Once the final answer key is published, candidates who have appeared for the exam can verify it for all sets (E1-E6, F1-F6, G1-G6, H1-H6) by visiting the official NTA website .

NEET 2020 Ranking:
Along with the result, NTA would also release the 2020 NEET ranking list for all India quota. The state merit lists would be shared with the respective authorities, which would carry out the assessment for 85% of the medical and dental entries. For 15 percent of AIQ, NEET ranks and ratings are expected to vary.
To qualify for MBBS / BSD courses, candidates must achieve a minimum 50th percentile in NEET. For those who belong to reserved categories, including SC and ST categories, the minimum scores are the 40th percentile and for PwD candidates it is the 45th percentile.
The NEET 2020 exams concluded on September 13 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. About 15.97 lakhs of applicants registered for the NEET 2020 exam. Of the total number of registered applicants, more than 13 lakhs of applicants have appeared, according to Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.
