NDA will form government in Bihar, Nitish Kumar will be CM again: BJP head JP Nadda declares in Gaya – assembly elections


The national chairman of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), JP Nadda, endorsed Bihar’s chief minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday, saying that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will re-form the government in the state.

Nadda listed the development work done by the NDA government in the last six years in Bihar. “New dimensions of development work are being drafted in Bihar in various sectors and it is our responsibility to drive this development forward,” he said at his election rally in Bihar’s Gaya magazine, to be published at the polls. During her speech, Nadda reminded the people of Bihar how previously it only had four medical schools and in the past six years, 14 medical institutes have been formed in the state, while development work is in progress for 11 more.

Greeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kumar, Nadda said: “Modi hai toh mumkeen hai, Nitish hai toh pradesh aage badhega.” “The leadership of India is secured in the hands of Prime Minister Modi and it is important that we secure the leadership of Bihar with Nitish Kumar,” he added.

Nadda extended the guarantee that the NDA will form the government in the state with Nitish Kumar as chief minister. “We have to provide employment to the youth of the country and make them self-sufficient. We have to take the mantra ‘atmanirbhar’ (self-reliance) given by Prime Minister Modi and march towards an independent nation, ”he said.

Nadda’s election rally in Gaya was the first public meeting of a BJP leader in Bihar before the next assembly elections.

The head of the BJP, along with Bihar’s Senior Deputy Minister Sushil Modi, first visited the Mahavir temple in Patna to seek blessings and offer prayer before the assembly elections. Nadda will also hold a meeting of BJP leaders and party workers in Patna, which will be attended by district presidents, senior party leaders, deputies and candidates for the assembly elections.

The first phase of the three-phase assembly election in Bihar will take place on October 28. Votes will be counted on November 10.
