SRH captain David Warner has been a cool and calm figure since the ball handling scandal, but today he looked livid with the referee after Khaleel Ahmed and Rahul Tewatia got involved in a nasty feud. After four consecutive losses, Riyan Parag and Rahul Tewatia led RR to an incredible victory.
In the match between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad, the uncapped duo of Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag led the Royals to a miraculous victory, scoring 85 runs between them. After being downgraded to 78/5, the duo had to dig deep before Tewatia broke the leather of Rashid Khan’s bowling alley in their surprising victory.
However, the game did not end well, as both groups of players faced each other. It all started when Rahul Tewatia broke the SRH pacemaker, Khaleel Ahmed before the southpaw gave the batter an ear. That caused a wild disorder as the two continued to chirp in each other’s ear. In the end, SRH captain David Warner also got caught up in the verbal affair, as RR came from behind to defeat SRH in a game that must be won by the franchise.
Here’s how Twitter reacted:
A fight between Khaleel and Tewatia
There was some heat between Rahul Tewatia and Khaleel Ahmed in the final, David Warner immediately after the match came to Tewatia and had a few words with him. Awesome from Warner to fix little issues right there. pic.twitter.com/J1j6gSsWIu
