NTA NEET 2020 result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to announce the result of the National Income and Eligibility Test (NEET) on October 12. More than 14.37 lakh of candidates who applied for medical entry can verify their result in- ntaneet.nic.in. Students will need to enter their list number mentioned on the admission card to verify the result.
The entrance examination was conducted on September 14 in the middle of the COVID-19 protocol after it was postponed several times due to pandemic lead situations.

Once published, candidates can check the results via the websites nta.ac.in, ntaneet.nic.in.

How to download the scorecard
Step 1: visit the official website ntaneet.nic.in
Step 2: click the download results link
Step 3: Enter the registration number, roll number
Step 4: the results will appear on the screen
Step 5: Download and make a hard copy for more information.
To qualify for MBBS / BSD courses, candidates must achieve a minimum 50th percentile in NEET. For those belonging to reserved categories, including SC and ST categories, the minimum scores are the 40th percentile and for PwD candidates it is the 45th percentile. The NEET score is accepted in Indian universities and institutes and according to the last rule, the NEET is also mandatory for Indian students who aspire to study medicine and related fields abroad.
Advice
Eligible candidates for counseling are those who occupy less than 15% of all positions in the Indian quota. The NTA will forward the list of selected candidates to the DG of Health Services, medical examination cell of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. While the NTA will declare the rank, the assessment will be done by the Ministry.
