The University of Delhi (DU) announced its first cut-list for admissions to undergraduate (UG) courses on Saturday.
The Lady Shri Ram (LSR) College admission limit is 100% for admission to three undergraduate courses in political science, economics, and psychology.
LSR is the first DU university to announce a 100% cap since 2015.
Two DU universities, such as the College of Vocational Studies and the Indraprastha College of Women, had set their limits at 100% for BSc (honors) in Computer Science in 2015.
The limits at DU colleges this year are 0.5-2 percentage points higher than last year.
In 2019, Hindu College announced the upper limit for BA (Honors) in Political Science at 99%.
Miranda House and LSR have announced 99% as the first limit for BA (Hons) in English this year.
LSR has also announced the highest limit for BA (Hons) in History at 99.5% and B.Com (Hons) at 99.75%. In science courses, Hindu College announced the upper limit for B.Sc in Physics with 99.33% and Mathematics with 99%.

The online admission process will begin for the first cut-off list on Monday at 10 am onwards.
These are the steps to follow:
1) Students must log into the DU admission portal using the ID created by them with their respective registration number. On the home page, they will see the colleges and courses for which they are eligible based on the limits. They can select the courses and universities of their choice. Students can apply for as many courses as they want. However, they can pay fees to complete the process only once.
2) Once students finish the course and university, they will get a reference number. The university will also receive an alert on its admissions portal. The university may also ask students for any additional information for the online verification process of their documents.
3) Once the documents have been verified, a university director will approve the student’s admission and it will also be visible on the institution’s portal.
4) Students must pay the fees through the portal to confirm their admission. They can also withdraw admission at this point (before paying fees) in an offer to avoid paying a cancellation fee of Rs 1,000.
5) Universities will not allow any student to visit campus for any consultation or admissions process due to the prevalent coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic. The process is strictly restricted to online.
The online admission process with the first cut will take place between Monday and Wednesday; and the second cut list will be published on October 19.
DU is expected to publish five cuts, which will be followed by a special cut.
