Banda, Uttar Pradesh:
In a horrific incident this morning, a man in Banda from Uttar Pradesh beheaded his wife on suspicion of infidelity and walked with his head severed to the police station where he surrendered.
According to the police, the accused – Chinnar Yadav had a fight with his wife Vimla (35) around 7:30 am this morning at their home in the town of Netanagar in the Banda district of UP.
“In a fit of rage, Chinnar Yadav cut off his wife’s head with a sharp weapon, after which he brought her severed head to the Baberu police station where he surrendered,” said Police Superintendent Mahendra Pratap Singh Chauhan.
“A video of the defendant walking towards the police station with the head of his wife appeared on social media,” police said.
The police arrested Chinnar Yadav and recovered the weapon he used for the murder. The woman’s body was sent for forensic testing, police said.
