New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants has postponed the ICAI CA 2020 exam for Bihar students, which was scheduled for the first week of November. The ICAI CA exam was postponed due to the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
Previously, the ICAI exam for November 2020 was scheduled to take place on November 2, 3, 6 and 7. According to the new calendar, the ICAI CA 2020 exams will now be held on November 19, 21, 23 and 25, 2020. The document -according to the schedule will be updated on the official website- icai.org.
In particular, this is the entry-level exam that the Institute of Public Accountants is taking.
“All students are informed that the ICAI CA exam will now be held on November 19, 21, 23 and 25, 2020 instead of November 2, 3, 6 and 7, 2020, respectively. It is also notified that the respective documents / list of state-level centers in which the elections to the Legislative Assembly in Bihar and the parliamentary elections / parliamentary elections announced in different places in different states will be reported separately, “the official notification reads.

“The opt-out option for students suffering from COVID 19 or who have symptoms of illness will be provided on the basis of self-declaration and this option will continue to operate during the completion of all November 2020 examinations. This scheme will also apply Centers / place of residence of the student that turn out to be the containment zone during the dates of the exams. They will be allowed to carry out their candidacy with the due transfer of all the benefits already available to the students, including the fees paid and the exemptions for the next exam, that is, Exam Cycle of May 2021, “the statement added.
Meanwhile, ICAI has also published guidelines for students or candidates who have symptoms of illness. He said that students with symptoms will receive a self-declaration and this option will continue to operate during the completion of all ICAI CA exams in November 2020.
