Trump willing to debate Joe Biden if events are postponed

WASHINGTON: President of the United States, Donald Triumph is willing to debate with the Democratic rival Joe biden If the event planned for next week is postponed until Oct. 22, his campaign said in a statement after the president said earlier Thursday that he would not participate in the Oct. 15 debate.
The Trump campaign also said the planned third presidential debate It should move from October 22 to 29. The Biden campaign, however, rejected Trump’s proposal to advance the date of the third debate.
President Trump had previously rejected plans to hold his next debate with Democratic rival Joe Biden virtually to reduce the risk of Covid-19 spread, complaining that his microphone could be cut off in that format.
The first debate between the two, held last week before Trump revealed that he had tested positive for the new coronavirus, turned into chaos with the Republican president of the United States interrupting Biden and the moderator at all times.
“I’m not wasting my time in a virtual debate, that’s not what the debate is about,” Trump said in a telephone interview with Fox Business after the nonpartisan commission in charge of presidential debates announced the new format Thursday the morning.
“You sit behind a computer and you have a debate, it’s ridiculous and then they cut you when they want to,” said Trump, adding that he was eager to hold campaign rallies with his supporters.
